Annual General Meeting

I was moved by the number of members that attended the AGM on Sunday.  On top of that we managed to fill positions in Executive Committee, Subcommittees and also the Vice Commodore position.  I would like to extend the EC's sincere thanks to everyone that attended and for supporting the future plans the Executive Committee has for the Club.

After the meeting we heard from Ben Thompson from Unprecedented who told us of some of the challenges that he faced in the 2022 Melbourne to Hobart West Coast race. Thanks to everyone that stayed at the Club for Ben's presentation.

What a great day for a Brass Monkey Winter Series Race with plenty of sunshine and breeze.  It was pleasing to see 13 starters on the water, and we would like to welcome Javelin from MYC who joined us for the first time this winter season - we hope that they are able to make it out on a more regular basis.

Everyone kept themselves pretty tidy at the start line however, we must mention Anthea who crossed the start with 0 seconds to go (my fingers was hovering over the OCS buttons) and YKnot who crossed with 1 second to go.
