Yard Storage

Sadly the Summer Sailing Season of 23/24 season has ended. We have all had a great year. As You know Yard Storage also ends on the 31st May. During the winter we allow the grass to grow and do essential maintenance. Therefore we kindly request all craft to be removed from the yard by May 31st. The exception to this rule is people who will be using their craft during the winter - eg  Winter sailing series participants. Any craft left in the yard after the 31st of May will be required to pay Winter Storage fees, which is the same cost as Summer Storage fees.

Thanks - James Yardmaster

Brass Monkey Winter Pursuit Series - Race 2
Great to see 14 boats out for the second of our Brass Monkey Winter Pursuit Races.  We were greeted with a chilly morning and a moderate S to SE wind blowing.  Course 1 was selected and a number of boats elected to run a kite which was good to see.
The fleet all finished in a tidy fashion and in plenty of time to enjoy a hearty lunch back at the club.
Big welcome to Black Swan, who were out for their first race with the SBSC fleet.  We would also like to welcome Ginan who were sailing with us from Mornington Yacht Club.

Happy Birthday to Steve Twentyman who no doubt enjoyed spending his special day at SBSC.
