Sunday 5th June - BMWS Race

Unfortunately the race on Sunday had to be cancelled due to strong winds and sea conditions.  Hopefully we get better weather for the next race on the 19th June.  Big thank you to the tower team of Andrew Stocks, John Matheson and Amanda Malin.

The start sheet for the next race has already been posted at BMWS Start Sheets

Gaff Rig Regatta - Noosa

Congratulations to Tim Bardon and Cirrus (SB20) for winning this years Gaff Rig Regatta that was held at Noosa last weekend.  The prize was a barrel of Bundy run so sure there will be plenty of friends at SBSC that would be happy to share the winnings!

Summer Lovin News

Brian and Lisa on Summer Lovin departed from the Gold Coast late May and travelled up via the inland passage and under the scary power lines the into Moreton Bay for a few days. Had a week in Newport Marina then left Saturday morning. Great sail to Noosa bay where conditions were perfect for an overnight stay. Sunday motored all day through perfect conditions again and traversed Wide Bay Bar with no wind and calm seas. Motored around to mirrored waters for our overnight stay at Gary’s Anchorage. Might be sunny but it’s still pretty cool here.  Must go further North!!

Mamba'lu - Cruising the Northern Aegean

Greg and Pauline Cleaver arrived back in Greece and very happy to be back onboard Mamba'lu after 2.5 years.  It was a relief to find it in very good condition and very few issues. We have been back on board now since late April and appreciating every day. The weather's turned from spring to summer but the crowds haven't arrived yet.
