Our Sailor Gals have been getting together at the Club on a fortnightly basis for Theory Training. Wednesday night sessions have seen us cover everything from the Rules of Racing, rough weather sailing, knot tying, kite packing and everything else in between. We will now be taking a break while some of us head North for warmer weather sailing and will recommence in September.
The Wednesday sessions will then become practical on-water training, so we can put our theory into practice. The training sessions are free of charge for SBSC members - everyone welcome - details of next training will be posted in E-News.
These informative, fun evenings have been well received by the ladies and we are seeing new members join all the time.
Thanks to Andrew Clark for running this course and passing on his valuable knowledge and skills - greatly appreciated by all.
