Reporting Concerns/Incidents/Near Misses- Please!
To assist the RM Committee in their upcoming review/planning we need to know the thoughts of club members. If you have any concerns about current hazards/procedures, both on and off water, please email/call me. If you have experienced or observed any incidents/near misses we need to know about these too. Much can be learnt and we need to avoid situations being repeated.

It is quite a challenge keeping track of the current restrictions and how they apply to boating however, a good source of information is the 'Best Boating Victoria' website. Please click HERE for the latest information.
As more information comes to hand we will endeavour to post it on the Safety Beach Sailing club Facebook page as soon as practicable so keep an eye out for any updates which can be viewed by clicking SBSC Facebook.
Footie Tipping Competition
Congratulations to our immediate Past Rear Commodore for taking out this years footy tipping competition. Bill Manning came from behind to sneak past Di Jackson in the last round, to win by merely margin alone. Di and Bill were tied on 108 each and the margin differential was a mere 36 points over 18 rounds. with only eight players having paid before a COVID shutdown, I’ve decided to divide the prize pool of $160.00 evenly to both Bill and Di, given Bill hadn’t yet paid and Di did pay (Bill you owe Di $10).
It was a very close and fiercely fought competition with Deirdre Snooks on 107 and a 3 way tie for 4th on 105. Ewan Campbell came in on 104 points, followed closely by Stephen Daniels on 103. Once restrictions allow for me to travel to the club from Melbourne, I will make good on the cash prizes to both Bill and Di.
